A few years ago I had a series of dreams. They always manage to tie into one another, but one night the story finally ended. I stopped dreaming for almost six months and if I was dreaming, I simply didn't know it and couldn't remember them. Finally, on the night of October 16, 2007, to be exact, I woke up in a heavy sweat. My visions had been so unforgettable. I actually felt like the reality I had woken up to was still, somehow, a part of the fantasy I had just escaped. For a few agonizing moments I was unable to distinguish if I was truly in my own bed.

I remember panicking and sitting up quickly to look around. When I finally calmed down and collected myself, I knew that my mind had once again taken me to the start of a brand new story. I was inspired and as I washed my face, I looked into the bathroom mirror. Everything I had dreamt was still there... locked inside my mind.

I sat down in front of my computer and began to write. The story just poured out onto my computer screen. Some 39 hours later, I realized that I had just written my first six chapters of the Crystal Moon, World of Grayham.
